What we can often do here
Retubes, domes, wax traps, microphones screens, cleaning, programme tweaks if we can talk to the aid, simple receiver swaps on common RICs.
Whistling, a dead side, a chewed tube, a charger that no longer wakes the aids. We look first, quote second. Same-day retubes and cleans when parts are in the drawer; manufacturer work takes longer.
Retubes, domes, wax traps, microphones screens, cleaning, programme tweaks if we can talk to the aid, simple receiver swaps on common RICs.
Cracked cases, water damage, charging faults, older out-of-warranty chips. We will say if a repair costs more than a replacement.
We can look. NHS instruments belong to the NHS — we will not strip them for parts or void a pathway you still need. Other private brands: we repair when parts exist; we cannot honour another shop’s warranty.
Both aids, the charger, and any moulds. A single aid off eBay is often not worth a receiver. If wax is blocking the ear, that is a wax visit, not a repair.
Aids we originally fitted: aftercare rules on your quote still apply. Everyone else: inspection, then a written repair price. No “while you wait miracle” if the chip is dead.
